Work Description
I finally took the plunge and sewed up these purple #tatjanatrousers 💜 I always find trouser patterns intimidating and I would definitely classify the Tatjanas as *real* pants with front pleats, back darts, zipper fly, slanted pockets and welt pockets at the back. For my first go I skipped the back welt pockets (a bit traumatized after the last time I tried welt pockets) as I didn’t toile and wanted to check the fit. Good news is that the fit is PERFECTION with zero mods - a very flattering high waist, lovely wide leg and deep pockets. Bad news is that whilst I’m in love with the color of this deep violet crepe, it was a thicker than ideal (and difficult to press!). In summary, now I know how great the fit is, I can’t wait to make another pair of Tatjanas!
