Leona dress - long velvet version
Work Description
This supposed to be my NYE going out dress! But with lockdown in the Uk and nowhere to go I had to change the look a bit. I made a size 12 of this dress - I sized up as I did'nt want a skin tight fit. I thought I wanted a shorter dress but cut teh longer version so I could choose teh length. After sewing it I realised how great the longer version and kept it long. I've been styling it with my cashmere Alex sweater, which is a pattern also on Makerist.com Its now one of my most worn pieces, I wear it to work, in my house and on walks - the only 3 places I can go right now haha
