Hi! I'm Mary of Mary's Secret Garden. I've been a working artist for about 36 years, 26 of those years making soft sculpted critters. My Artist bear years were fun including selling bears on QVS, winning my share of contests but mostly loving interacting with the collectors and artists. Now my hands have become a little tired so I am combining my love of bear making, my pattern making skills and my love of teaching in these detailed soft sculpted animal patterns for artists and collectors to try for themselves. I love creating the animals from scratch and refining the patterns with illustrations, well labeled pattern pieces and complete directions so they are easily followed.. Each pattern contains unique secrets and techniques. Many consider the patterns their own continuing Education in Advanced Bear Making!
