Camimade Patterns Vague Top
Work Description
I went for a statement version. Front and back body and sleeves in a print and the shoulder yoke in plain. A feather print jersey for the body and sleeves and a dark plain blue jersey for the shoulder yoke Based on the specified measurements of a ready-made Top I opted for size B because I prefer a fitted look. The Vague Top is relatively easy to sew but the waved shoulder yoke requires accuracy. You can find notches on all the pattern pieces. I decided to bast the shoulder yoke on the front and back body and sleeves before stitching. It made the sewing together in my opinion much easier to handle because you can stitch everything together without stopping to remove pins. I also want to wear this Vague Top during the Summer so I made a short sleeve version. Just to get a good balance my sleeve length is just above the elbow. A regular T-shirt neckline finish replaces the high neck.
