Stitching Project - Blackwork Journal - May 2019

Work Description

In May 2019, my husband & I stayed in our caravan, with our little dog, at the Sandringham Estate, Norfolk. We were surrounded by the Country Park. My design is leaves & trees. I used two colours for the blackwork. Green & brown. I used Alderman pure silk threads, using double thread. The leaves design I found in a book, but I created the tree pattern. I really enjoyed stitching this design, what a lovely memory from a very enjoyable week away.
