Snowdrop Flower Fairy Doll - DK Wool
Work Description
This is my first flower fairy design. When I was young, I remember buying my first flower fairy poem book, by Cicely Mary Baker, in Canterbury, U.K. This is my inspiration for this design. The Snowdrop was probably introduced into Britain in the early 16th century. There are 19 species of Snowdrops and are called ‘milk white flowers’ due to looking like drops of milk hanging from a stem. The Snowdrop Fairy has a skirt of petals and wings. I have used Sirdar Snuggly Pearls DK to give a bit of sparkle to the dress & wings.
