Work Description

I made the fabric version. All used fabrics are leftovers from previous sewing projects. In my opinion a travel sewing kit needs to be made of strong fabric so the outside is made of a piece of leftover denim. Appliqués are done with the sewing machine instead of by hand. Flowers and leaves are very small so using a fabric glue pen is very wise. I made three alterations. A clip buckle instead of a snap, an extra pocket that can be closed with a zipper and my scissors are hanging on a cord. I also added for extra holiday feeling a beach umbrella on the beach to my travel sewing kit. .
