Hej, I'm Simone, pattern maker and I'm studying textile and clothing engineering at the HAW in Hamburg.
At Bohème Design we make stylish DIY fashion. Clean constructed, well worked pattern with a very good fit.
Step by step I will accompany you with detailed, illustrated instructions to expand your sewing skills. You can also find video sewing instructions on YouTube.
The pattern sheet is included in the e-book in the following formats: - A4 & US-Letter file with show/hide layers - A0 & 36"x48" in layered file, optimized for the plotter (also online plotter services) - Digital instructions as PDF - Seam allowances can be shown/hidden (in the new e-books)
My ebooks are available bilingually in English and German.
It is also very important to me to establish a sustainable and appreciative approach to textiles. One way to get people excited about this is through the hobby sewing section.
Slow sewing instead of fast food fashion, take time for yourself and your hobby. Choose the cut carefully to see if it suits your style. When it comes to fabrics and materials, pay attention to where they were made and whether they were produced sustainably, fairly and ecologically.
With rest and relaxation, your sewing pieces will become even better.
