- (3) 12" x 8" scraps for exterior pockets
- 1/3 yd fabric for strap & exterior gusset
- 1/3 yd fabric for exterior & zipper casing
- 1/3 yd fabric for lining
- 1 2/3 yd of 20"-22" wide interfacing, or 1 yd of 40"- 45" wide interfacing (Pellon Craft Fuse, Pellon Decor Bond or similar)
- (1) 12" zipper
- (2) 9" zippers
- coordinating thread
- sewing machine & basic sewing tools
The Zippy Bag is a great bag to experiment with different combinations of fabric, or to showcase your favorite designer's latest fabric collection! Each step is thoroughly explained and I've included computer drawn illustrations of the steps. The pattern includes instructions for installing a top zipper closure, exterior zipper pockets, and interior slip pockets.
