Sewing Pattern for a Cross Body Carrier Bag for Dogs
Size: Up to approximately 6 kg (13lbs) body weight of the dog. The dog in the pictures weighs around 5 kg.
Note: Please put on the bag first and then place the dog inside!
Description
Maria is a fashionable and practical cross-body bag for carrying small dogs. It's deep enough for the dog to comfortably lie in it while still being able to rest its head on the edge of the bag opening. The wide strap runs diagonally across the back, making the bag comfortable to wear even for extended periods. Depending on the season, you can sew it from warmer or lighter fabrics, just make sure they're not too thick. The sewing pattern also includes a pattern piece for an optional small cellphone pocket.
Here's a small german video tutorial showing how to sew on the strap: https://youtu.be/wW5ZxllnbnA
Seam Allowances
The sewing pattern includes a seam allowance of 1 cm.
Files (ebook: Instructions + Pattern Din A4 + A0)
Upon purchasing the ebook, you'll receive 1 file (ebook = detailed, illustrated sewing instructions + pattern Din A4 at the end of the instructions) as well as separate files for Din A4 and Din A0 in a ZIP folder. Always download all files (ebook/instructions = PDF and project materials/pattern A4+A0 = ZIP) to have everything together!

Our Women's Sewing Patterns
When creating my sewing patterns, I take into account the unique features of the female figure to create visually pleasing silhouettes. My goal is to improve women's body consciousness and show them that with the right garment, they can feel beautiful in any size. That's why most of my sewing patterns go up to size 54/56/58, and some even up to 60.
