Stripes-Japanese Knot Bag

Work Description

I tried to just grab a colour from my stash bag and knit but found I couldn’t do it. I ended up matching the stripes over the handles. Most of the stripes are between 3 and 7 rows, I just knotted on the new lengths of yarn and carried on knitting- the joins will disappear during felting. I worked the very bold blue in 2 row stripes because I only had a small amount and wanted to spread it around the bag- in the end I only had enough left to make a narrow feature stripe in the handle.
