Gathered Dressing Gown (Cassandra Ellis)

Work Description

The actual finished dressing gown is so glamorous, makes me feel like a 50’s film star! All I need now is some warmer weather to wear it. Wish I’d made it in summer. I used a green and gold sari, which is far more sheer than I expected. I was worried as the sari didn’t look like it’d be enough but in the end there was plenty. The pattern is pretty easy to follow, although, personally, I’m not keen on the pocket placement, next time I’d place them higher.
