Materials you need at home:
- Closed-end zipper (open-end zipper works too if you buy a longer zipper and shorten it)
- 2 cm (3/4”) wide elastic for sleeve hem
- (Cropped version only) 2,5 cm (1”) wide elastic for bodice hem
- (Cropped version only) Ribbon or cording for the drawstring (note: if you want a functional drawstring you may not want elastic in the bodice hem)
- 2 strips of sewn-in interfacing (2 cm x 60 cm / 3/4” x 24” each)
- Ball-point or stretch needle (if sewing with knits)
- Microtex needle (if sewing with delicate woven fabrics)
Zoe is an oversized pullover with a zipper that can be sewn in both woven and stretch fabrics. She has a dropped shoulder and extra long sleeves which are finished with elastic at the sleeve hem. Zoe comes in 2 lengths options: cropped and hip length. The cropped length is finished with elastic at the hem and has buttonholes if you want to insert a drawstring that is functional or just decorative. The hip length has a high low hem with side seam slits and comes with two back options: the back cut in one piece and the back with yoke . Because of the different panels, Zoe is perfect for scrap projects and color blocking.
