🧵👗 Sewing Tips ✂📏 Sewing a muslin/toile first is always recommended since it allows you to check the fit and make any necessary adjustments first. When choosing your size, I recommend going after your waist measurement and performing a full bust adjustment (FBA) if necessary. This pattern is designed for a dessmaker's B-cup and for a body height of 165cm (5'5"). If the difference between your upper bust and full bust measurement is more or significantly less than 5cm (2"), performing an FBA might be necessary to get the fit right.
📚The Story Behind The Name: 'Xipe Totec' (pronounciation [shipe-totek]) is one of the four creator-gods in Aztec mythology, also known as a lifedeath-rebirth deity, god of agriculture, vegetation, spring, liberation and the seasons. The name literally translates to 'Our Lord The Flayed One', since Xipe Totec flayed himself to give food to humanity, symbolic of the way maize seeds lose their outer layer before germination and of snakes shedding their skin.
