A slim-fitting or more comfortable fitted top in different variations for light knitted fabrics. Honestly? You can't have enough of them. Whether as a fashionable eye-catcher in the summer months or as warming undergarment in the winter season - the top KETIKA can tolerate any combination and offers a few variations itself.
The top comes with two side line cuts to choose from and there are different neckline options: a round version and a sporty button placket. The neckline is also cut low at the back. And the best part: KETIKA is also available as a summery, maxi-length dress version. Well, that leaves nothing to be desired, right?
If not now, when? This saying inspired us to name the pattern KETIKA. It's Indonesian and translates into "when". After all, it's always a good time to wear a top - and even more so the dress version at the height of summer. So let's get going!
This pattern will delight you - whether you're a beginner or a more experienced sewer - since KETIKA is sewn incredibly easy and therefore also unbeatable fast. Thus, get started now and enjoy the new look by tomorrow already!
Fabric recommendations:
For KETIKA you should always go for stretchy fabrics such as jersey, knitwear and French Terry. Thin jerseys and viscose jerseys are of course recommended for the summer months or if the top should be worn underneath. Woven fabrics are not recommended at all for such a small top.
Fabric consumption:
For the top KETIKA and especially the dress version you need different amounts of fabric. Here are a few indications for reference (based on 150 cm fabric width plus seam allowances and buffers):
Basic version: Sizes XS - M 85 cm Sizes L - XXL 100 cm
Dress version (maxi length): Sizes XS - M 160 cm Sizes L - XXL 350 cm
You can also easily calculate the amount needed yourself. Simply measure the width and height of the paper pattern pieces according to your desired size. Do not forget to add a seam allowance of 0.7 - 1 cm all around, as well as doubling the measured value in width (fold). In height, add seam allowances of up to 2-3 cm. Finally, add a few cm tolerance at the end.
