The cuff, (boomerang) heel and toes are knitted in a contrast color of your choice.
I am using different zig-zag / line patterns to add some details, you can knit some rounds of your base color to elongate the leg or foot of the sock.
Also included in the written pattern are instructions for the boomerang heel, which is a beautiful reliable short row heel.
The pattern is written for socks in the size 37 (US 6) but there are some tips included on how to knit the socks in other sizes.
You will however need to cast on a minimum of 60 stitches!
You will need two colors of yarn: one base color (50 g) and a contrast color (50 g). The instructions are written for DPNs (3.0mm), but you can knit the socks with a circular needles as well, if you are experienced enough to adapt the steps to the magic loop technique.
