Every cloud has a silver lining :: Whisp is an asymmetrical cowl with wind and cloud lace, knit using the two-color brioche stitch. This cowl is worked flat, starting at the widest end and then decreasing slowly at one edge until binding off. The cowl is then seamed together, with the angled side creating a folded fabric to show off the Contrast Side, keeping the soft SilverSpun® cotton on your skin at all times.
Whisp is an exciting collaboration with Feel Good Yarn Co. and Backyard Fiberworks!
Skill level: Intermediate. Basic two color brioche skills are not required, but are recommended. Techniques used: brioche knit (brk), brioche purl (brp), simple brioche increases and decreases, seaming.
This pattern is both written and charted, for your convenience! A photo tutorial showing the special two-color brioche seaming technique is also included.
