Vreeni Socks are worked toe up with the magic loop method toe up to the cuff. The stitches are picked up with a double-sides cast on. Vreeni Socks have a pretty and simple lace pattern. The heel is shaped with short rows (boomerang heel), but can be replaced by any other heel that is worked bottom up. Vreeni has a short leg and can be worked with or without the ruffles.

Yarn 100 g Pascuali Pinta (60 % wool (merino extrafine, mulesing free), 20 % silk, 20 % ramie, meterage approx. 425 m/ 100 g), in colour 16/ Dusty pink,

or

100 g Pascuali Forest (70 % merino superfine 19,5 micron superwash, 15 % viscose (bamboo), 15 % cotton, meterage approx. 425 m/ 100 g), in colour 101/ pearl white.

Recommended needles Circular needle 2,5 mm, min. 80 cm long. Circular needle 2,5 mm, approx. 60 cm long for the ruffles. Knit a gauge swatch first and adjust needle size if necessary.

Tip: You might knit a bit looser with the magic loop method as with dpns. Adjust needle size if necessary.
