The short rows that are so key to Lateralis construction get amplified here to create all-over rippling waves. Working both with and against each other, these short rows have a mesmerising effect on the stripes that work their way through the pattern.
The pattern is written for three sizes, with sizing achieved through gauge, and includes tutorials for German Short Rows and Kitchener Stitch.
Featuring short row colourwork, each of the Lateralis Hats is knit sideways and grafted. Unlike other sideways knit Hats, these patterns aren’t constructed from panels, and they will lead you on an altogether different adventure. The pattern is provided as a map for the short rows - a directional chart - that will help guide you through the pattern.
