Easy to make tote bag PDF sewing pattern. Simply download this quick to make shopping bag and follow the easy bag making sewing instructions.
If you want to really challenge yourself, make up the pocket section in leather or suede contrasted with the rest of the bag in vintage denim. Add braid - use bright coloured contrasting zips: anything to individualise your make.
This is a great bag pattern which we think will become your favourite customisable sewing project and/or scrap buster project: add buttons in place of a zip, add piping, use velvet and/or corduroy instead of denim - you are only limited by your imagination.
Sewing Skill Level: Lower Intermediate.

VJ Seamsters
At VJ Seamsters we make vintage inspired patterns for the curvy 'apple shaped' woman.
As well as flattering the curvy form, we create patterns which we consider 'contemporary classics': styles that don't date quickly and can be easily customised and adapted to your shape.
When choosing a style, check its sizing spec before you buy, so that you can gauge how much ease the style allows. Remember, some styles are more shaped and fitted than others so the amount of ease often differs from pattern to pattern.
