Fabric recommendations:

For your new top RELA you should always go for stretchy fabrics such as jersey, knitwear and French Terry. With sweatshirt fabrics, always make sure that they stretch laterally. Thin jerseys and viscose jerseys are of course recommended for the summer months or if you prefer to wear your top underneath. Woven fabrics are not recommended at all for such a small top.

Fabric consumption:

For the top RELA you need different amounts of fabric - depending on whether you want to sew the basic or the ruffle version. Here are a few reference values (based on a fabric width of 150 cm plus seam allowances and buffers):

Basic version: Sizes XS - M 85 cm Sizes L- XXL 100 cm

Ruffle version: Sizes XS - M 95 cm Sizes L - XXL 110 cm

You can also easily calculate the amount needed yourself. Simply measure the width and height of the paper pattern pieces according to your desired size. Do not forget to add a seam allowance of 0.7 - 1 cm all around, as well as doubling the measured value in width (fold). In height, add seam allowances of up to 2-3 cm. Finally, add a few cm tolerance at the end.
