The Tirim Tiny Towel is knit in a sport weight cotton yarn, and forms a diamond shape with a hanging loop. The towel features a little cable along the sides, which is nice and easy to work, and would be suitable as a first cable project. The towel measures 10 inches/25.5 cm across at the widest point, and 12 inches/30 cm at the tallest point.
The samples were knit in Rowan Cotton Glace yarn: one ball was enough to make two towels (used as the main colour). One set of knitting needles is required (4mm/US 6), and the (optional) contrast border is worked using a 4mm crochet hook.
Notions required: Stitch marker Cable needle Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
The towel is quick to knit, and ideal for using up leftover cotton yarn to create a really individual look for your kitchen or bathroom, or to make a cute hostess/housewarming gift.
