TeaCosyFolk have done it again with this exciting lizard inspired tea cosy knitting pattern of a jazzy Chameleon.
The main part of the cosy is the chameleon's body, and the limbs, head and tail are knitted and sewn on.
The chameleon is stood there with one leg raised. Apparently they can stand still like this for hours at a time.
I love his eyes that can be looking in two different directions and I love his feet that look as if he is wearing oven mitts.
It's an easy to knit pattern and the detail is created by knitting in stripes. The tea cosy used Stylecraft Special DK throughout and for the main cosy the yarn is held double to make it thicker and add more insulation.
I love weird and wonderful, and you don't get much quirkier then a chameleon, so I wanted to design a fun and quirky chameleon tea cosy.
The chameleon tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting him very soon!
This product is the knitting pattern only to make your own chameleon tea cosy.

I design and knit unique tea cosies. I really love designing exciting and unusual tea cosies, its great fun and people don’t mind having an over the top tea cosy. Plus they are a great talking point at tea time and make for brilliant knitting projects.
I have quite a following with regular customers who regularly buy my latest designs from my website TeaCosyFolk.co.uk
I have had a couple of patterns printed in the Simply Knitting Magazine, which is very exciting.
