Striped pumpkin crochet pattern.
This easy-to-follow crochet pattern is for two versions of a striped pumpkin ornament.
Made with double knitting (DK, light worsted weight, Category 3) yarn and a 3.5mm (US: E-4) crochet hook, the finished crochet pumpkins are approximately 7cm (2¾ inches) in diameter.
However you can easily make larger or smaller pumpkins by choosing a different weight yarn and matching hook. The pattern includes detailed notes on choosing an appropriate yarn.
This 18 page pattern is fully illustrated with colour photos and tips are provided throughout. Tutorials on changing colour and making invisible decreases are also included. Plus all my crochet patterns come with my full e-mail support if you have any questions whatsoever.
In addition to the photo-tutorial, for more experienced crocheters or once you are familiar with the pattern, the file includes a one-page unillustrated pattern in standard crochet notation for ease of printing and quick reference. The best of both worlds!
This pattern is available in both UK and US crochet terminology. Both documents will be available for you on purchase and you can choose whichever you prefer to use.
Please see my other crochet patterns for more matching pumpkins and gourds to make a wonderful autumn display.
