The pattern is suitable for beginners and compatible with most domestic sewing machines. Finished backpack dimensions are (H x W x D): 16 x 12 x 6" (40 x 30 x 15 cm). The design of this spacious backpack is versatile; depending on your choice of fabrics and materials, it can be made for children, women, or men. On the outside, the backpack features two side slip pockets and a spacious zipper pocket. It has a top zipper closure and is fully lined. There is an option for an additional zipper pocket (included in the instructions).
Suitable materials include cotton, waterproof canvas, leatherette, cork, and their various combinations. Backpacks sewn according to these instructions can be sold in small series production. Lacus patterns are not permitted to be redistributed or shared in electronic or printed form.
