This elegant clutch with detachable strap can be used for sewing, crafts or just as a purse, handbag or cosmetic bag. The size - 10" x 5"x 5 1/2". It doesn't require a spacial frame or external zipper, only 2 pair of magnetic closures. invisible sew-in or regular. In this tutorial I will explain how to make this flat panel for the magnets on the top. I will also describe the new technique of inserting D-rings in the binding. If you plan to use it as a sewing bag, you might want to add aluminized coating fabric for the inside part, so you can use your miniature iron and this mini ironing pad for small paper piecing or other patchwork projects. When the bag is open flat, both sides can be used as a tray for small items, accessories, cosmetics, phone etc. Magnetic snaps also can be used as pin holders, when bag is open. When snapped on the sides the bag has a sturdy box shape. You can choose to make it with long shoulder strap or shorter handle.
