Materials you need at home:

  • A selection of vintage embroidered table-cloths and tray cloths or embroidered linen hand-towels etc
  • 1½ yards (1.4m) of printed cotton fabric with a small print design that will pick up on the colours in the embroideries
  • 4 yards (3.6m) of printed cotton fabric for the backing
  • 2 yards (1.9m) of wadding that is 72” (190cm) wide
  • ½ yard (50cm) of cotton fabric for the binding
  • thread for sewing and quilting

This is a pattern to make a single-bed quilt using vintage fabrics (such as tray cloths and table cloths), with full colour photos and step-by-step instructions.
