Sinbad is a jersey T-shirt with short or long sleeves for boys available from 2 to 16 years old. There are several versions: classic neckline, Henley neckline with or without small collar, asymmetric buttoning, shoulder yokes, patch pocket or welt pocket on the chest. You can sew about fifty different versions with this pattern.
Sinbad can be sewn with either a sewing machine or an overlock/coverlock machine. See the special supplies sheet for advice on sewing this model. You'll need special jersey needles to make it. With this pattern, you'll be able to make basic T-shirts with short or long sleeves, as well as more elaborate and original tops: enough to fill your boys' wardrobes for all seasons !
This pattern is rather fast to sew and has several levels of difficulty, depending on the version you choose. The basic version with no buttons or pockets is the easiest, while the version with a small collar and welt pocket requires a little more precision and rigour.
