Fabric recommendations:

Stretchy fabrics such as jersey, knit fabrics and French Terry are best suited for the shirt SAYANG. In the case of sweatshirt fabrics pay attention to their elasticity properties. With the wrong fabric the sleeves could eventually become too tight. Thin jerseys and viscose jerseys are recommended especially for the summer months.

Woven fabric is not recommended at all for such a tight shirt as the shirt has no closure. Therefore, choose a stretchy fabric in any case.

Fabric consumption:

For the SAYANG shirt you need different amounts of fabric - depending on whether you want to sew the short-sleeved or long-sleeved version. Here are some basic measurements for orientation (based on a fabric width of 150 cm plus seam allowances and buffers):

Additional material

If you want to sew the version with a V-neck, you will need a bit of fusible web to reinforce the tip. Alternatively, you can also use so-called Wonder Dots.
