Contains:
- Elaborate pattern with emphasis on the tiny details that transform a nice project to a wow! project with perfect finish.
- Included tutorials decreases, increases, pick up stitches, i-cord, crochet bobbles
- Many pictures to guide you along!
Materials you need at home:
- The pattern can be altered for other yarns and yardages. In my pattern you will find instructions how to do it (it's pretty simple). As the shawl is knitted sideways, you decide on the size only shortly before you come to the final tip. You will need around 330 to 400 g of wool, depending on the yardage.
- Original wool I used: "Merino 300" (300 m/100 g) from www.bunte-wolle.de. Annett is a seasoned dyer with a special knack for all shades of blue.
- Some suggestions for yarn alternatives - Malabrigo Arroyo - Malabrigo Rastita - Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend Semi-Solid - Rowan Pure Wool 4 Ply - Rowan Pure Wool Superwash DK - Wollmeise Pure
Knit a shawl that will bring you the admiration of your friends – in sophisticated marine colours or else: the shawl looks great in many colour combinations! Blue like the sea, red like our minicipal coat and white bobbles that symbolize our notorious drizzle – that's how I like my snuggly warm HAMBURG AHOI to face the storms in my hometown. HAMBURG AHOI is knitted sideways, so the size is completely up to you – especially made of thinner wool HAMBURG AHOI makes a stunning shawlette.
