The 2018-2019 years mark milestones for some of my oldest friends and me - we all turn 40 at some point during these years. This milestone has me reflecting on our friendships, some dating back to us being born hours apart. I look back and think - WOW - 40, 35, 30 year friendships! We may not be in touch every day as when we were teens, but it is so special when we do connect whether through a phone call, text message, celebrating a milestone, or just a simple coffee.
