This crochet pattern contains detailed description of making this scarecrow, the dungarees and the hat. The head of Sammy is a pumpkin. You can also make a lot of pumpkins as decoration. It is all included in the pattern. I have added a lot of photos for the details.

Sizes: - Sammy's height including the hat = 25 cm / 9.8 inch - The pumpkins have a diameter of 7 cm / 2.75 inch

Materials: • Schachenmayr Catania (sport) fine weight 100% cotton yarn (125 m/ 137 yrds / 50 gr per skein)in different colors • Crochet hook size C/2 (US) / 12 (UK) (= 2.5 mm) • 2 pieces of cardboard for shoe soles of approx. 3 x 3 cm / 1.2 x 1.2 inch • Pipe cleaners for arms, legs and head (if desired) • 2 black buttons for the eyes (may be different sizes; I used 1 button of 0.8 cm and 1 button of 1 cm) • Optional: 1 flower button for the straps of the dungarees • Filling (fiberfill) • Needle for closing seams and sewing eyes and mouth
