Materials you need at home:
- Fingering yarn or sock yarn 100 g
- Knitting needles ciruclar and DPN 2.5 mm
- Stitches markers
Material: Any 4 ply yarn or fingering / sock yarn : 2 colours of your choice: 1 skein for contrast colour 50 gr matching for toe, heel and cuff, and 1 skein of main colour 100 gr for sock. ( I used 1 skein 100 gr Fingering yarn from Woolfiend for main colour Grey and 1 ball Woolfiend 50 gr #Rust for contrast colour) Circular needles 2.5 mm small circumference and/or DPN 2.5 mm ( 20 cm) 2 stitches markers: M1, M2 in the pattern tapestry needle scissors

10 cm x 10 cm = 32 mailles x 46 rangs by knitting the design

Note:
This pattern is for socks knitted with toe-up method, Judy’s magic cast on method (Turkish cast on is great too for this pattern) for toe, German short row technique for the heel.
The socks begins with contrast colour and toe, then you change the colour for main colour and knit the design only on top of foot. Make the heel with contrast colour and then change for contrast colour to knit the design all around the ankle and finish with the cuff with contrast colour.
