This pattern includes two tutorials for making a fabric grocery bag with or without a lining and a burlap grocery bag with or without a lining as well as the computer drawn pattern pieces. The pattern pieces are printable either on Letter or A4 size paper.

Easy project for beginners as well as confident sewers! The instructions are written for beginners who are comfortable using their sewing machine and can straight stitch. It has a detailed description of each step with photos to show you how to make it.

This grocery bag is foldable so you can put it in your handbag after tying with the elastic loop attached to the top of the bag. The size is approximately 14.5" (37cm) x 13" (33cm) x 6.5" (16.51cm). The handles are long enough to go over your shoulder.

The sample bags shown are made from outdoor stain resistant polyester, quilting cottons and burlap.
