Raakel Tee is worked top down in stockinette stitch in the round in one piece with raglan increases.

It has wide bat wing sleeves that can be worked in 2 different lengths.

The oversize body is shaped with decreases along the sides and gets slimmer towards the ribbing. The ribbings are worked with twisted stitches.

7/8 sleeves

Each 300 (300) 300 (350) 400 (450) 450 g Pascuali Nepal (60% cotton organic, 28% linen,12% nettle, meterage approx. 180 m/50 g) in colour 18 Taupe.

Short sleeves

Each 200 (200) 200 (250) 250 (300) 300 g Sandnes Tynn Line,  (53% cotton, 33% viscose, 14% linen, meterage approx. 220 m/50 g) in colour 6364 Mørk blå.

Recommended needles: Circular needle 3 mm (40 and 100 cm long). Circular needle 3,5 mm (40 and 100 cm long).

I work sleeves with a circular needle (3 mm and 3,5 mm, 100 cm long) with Magic Loop method. Alternatively, they can be worked with a short circular needle (e.g. 40 cm), with dpns or any other needle system of your choice.

Knit a gauge swatch first and adjust needle size, if necessary.

Gauge, washed and blocked 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch = 21 sts x 34 rows on needle 3,5 mm.

Supplies: 5 stitch marker, 2 stitch holder or waste yarn, wool needle, measuring tape, scissors.

On the cover I wear Raakel Tee in size S. I am 1,60 m tall and have a chest circumference of 86 cm. Choose your size according to your chest circumference (standard size). Bust measurement XS - XXXL standard size: to 81 (82 – 89) 90 – 97 (98 – 107) 108 - 119 (120 - 131) 132 – 141 cm.
