These ankle socks are the ideal addition to your late summer warderobe.
The fair isle pattern is very versatile. Knitted in light colors the socks look soft and almost elegant. Bright colors give them a more modern, sporty feel.
The heel is a German short row heel and the toe is a wedge toe.
Gauge: 30 stitches and 40 rows (10 cm)
To knit one pair of socks you will need sock yarn (4-ply) in three different colors.
The pattern is written for shoe sizes 22-47 (EU).
The pattern calls for DPNs in 2.5mm and 2.75 mm, but you can also use the Magic loop technique.
The pattern includes step-by-step instructions for the heel and toe and a chart for the fair isle design.
Be aware: this is a digital product! You won’t receive a printed version of this pattern, just the digital version in pdf format, that you can read on your computer using a pdf reading software.
haalu
My name is Hilke and I am a knitter from Aachen, who loves to sew. Haalu has already been around since June 2013. First I sold handmade purses, pencil cases or mobile phone cases on Dawanda, simply because I didn't need as much stuff as I was making. :) Some time ago I have started writing my own sewing and knitting ebooks to help others find their own enjoyment in crafting.
