The Priya Dress is a classic smock dress pattern that features a floaty and slip-on style silhouette that is perfect for beginner sewists. The pattern comes in various skirt lengths and with a sleeved and sleeveless bodice option to wear all year round. The 3/4 length sleeves are finished with an elastic hem for a chic look or choose to make this dress sleeveless with bias binding for a clean look.

Light-weight weight woven fabrics such as Cotton, Linen, Viscose/Rayon, Double Gauze and Crepe will work best. Using fabric with a bit of drape will help create a more fluid and free-flowing dress. You will need 1/4" or 7mm wide elastic for the sleeved version.

For sizes 6-18 you will need between 2.5-3 metres of fabric for the dress variations or 1.5 metres of fabric to make the top.

For sizes 20-32 you will need between 3.5-4 metres of fabric for the dress variations or 2.5 metres of fabric to make the top.

With this download, you will receive a print at home A4 sized paper pattern along with illustrated instructions that make it super easy to create your own handmade wardrobe! Print pattern 100% to scale and it will fit on A4 and US Letter sized paper. There is also an A0 sized pattern included for you to print out at a printers full size.
