Very easy to make medieval (Shield Her) "Viking Hood" fit for a princess. This is a female version of the standard "Skjoldehamn (Shield Him) Viking Hood." The base or main part of the hood is made in a lacy pattern and only 3 simple shapes are made. (A rectangle and 2 squares.) Once the pieces are completed and assembled, a casing, drawstring and edging are added. Makes up ver quickly with step-by-step illustrated and written instructions. Only simple sts are used. Once you have made this pattern you will see how easy it is to create your own pieces and join them together.
Gauge: With I hook in sc. 12 sts and 15 rows = 4 x 4 inch square.
