The knitting pattern provides full instructions for 5 preemie baby sizes: XS (1-2 lbs), S (2-3 lbs), M (3-4 lbs), L (4-5 lbs) and XL (5-6 lbs) and there are numerous photos to help you throughout. They are made in any 4ply sock yarn of your choice on 2mm double pointed needles. Even the largest size takes only 12g of 4ply wool. The heels are worked in short rows without having to wrap and turn, meaning you can easily whip up a pair while watching tv.
