Materials you need at home:
- Two pieces of coordinating quilting cottons, each a diagonal half of a 16” or 41cm square, OR - For the ribbon version, substitute one piece of fabric with two coordinating lengths of 2.5” (6.5cm) ribbon, one 34” (86cm) long and one 26” (66cm) long

Looking for something that's useful for everyone and easy to make? Look no further than this Portable Pocket Pouch! Dangle this on the inside of your front door to store your keys or mail, put it on a wall in your office to hold small stationery items (stamps, receipts) or travel with it to keep from losing your hotel key card. Give one to each member of your household to hang on the doorknob to hold those small things that shouldn't be forgotten "on the way out". It's fat quarter friendly and you can even make a striking version of it out of ribbon (the red and white one shown here).
