Materials you need at home:
- 2.8-3.0 yards of main fabric, slightly stretchy - denim, corduroy, cotton
- 1/2 yard thin cotton fabric for the pocket bags
- 1 button for the waistband
- 3 fly buttons
- Thread
- Rivets (optional)
The plus size men's jeans sewing pattern PDF features regular rise straight cut jeans with a button fly that are comfortable to wear, flatter the body and come in jean sizes 36-52.
Notes: - Seam allowance is not included in the pattern pieces due to the fact preferences vary among people. Recommendations are provided in the instructions. - Use slightly stretchy denim, cotton or corduroy for optimal fit and comfort. - To choose the best size, take the waist measurement where the jean waist will sit. It is recommended that you confirm that waist measurement by taking it on a pair of jeans that fit well. - If the fabric is very heavy, rigid or has no stretch at all, we recommend choosing one size up or leaving a generous side seam allowance to allow fitting adjustments. - The default inseam is 34″. An easy adjustment is possible at the knee line (provided on the pattern).
