Materials you need at home:
- 2 yd (1.83 m) of light to medium-weight woven fabric
- 9" (23 cm) invisible (concealed) zipper of matching color
- 4" (10.2 cm) of medium-weight woven fusible interfacing
- Skirt fastener of your choice
- Sewing machine
- Serger/overlocker for neatening seams (optional)
- Machine sewing thread in a matching color 1-4 spools (depending on whether or not you will be using a serger)
- Invisible (concealed) zipper foot
- Other sewing tools (scissors, marking aids, needles, pins, iron, etc.)
"Twofold" is a midi skirt with two deep side pleats on the front and the back which create an A-line shape.
