Pink Madness is a statement scarf with a dramatic brioche motif, surrounded by two color garter stitch stripes and two-color brioche borders. This scarf is knit flat, worked in two halves, then grafted together. This is the perfect pattern to play with color!! Feel free to use four different color yarns, using two for the first half of the scarf, and then using two completely different colors for the second half! Even a stashbusting stripe version would look amazing! Or just stick with the same two colors and not switch them. The possibilities are endless! Add fringe to the ends with your leftover yarn for extra pizazz!
Skill level: Beginner - Intermediate. Basic two color brioche skills are not required, but are recommended. Techniques used: brioche knit, brioche purl, simple brioche increases and decreases, knitting, purling, kitchener stitch.
This pattern is both written and charted, for your convenience!
