A cap for all seasons! Keep your little ones ears warm with these charming, whimsical, but most importantly functional Pilot & Pixie caps.
Designed to fit snug around the face and tie comfortably under the chin.
This easy to follow pattern tutorial will guide you through a very simple sewing project. The cap uses very little fabric or sweater material. Why not recycle some of your sweaters or fleece jackets?
Use the bottom cuff of a sweater and cut it out with the method I show in this pattern tutorial and it will hug around your child's face just like you had knit it by hand.
A cozy piece of polar fleece lined with a cotton knit, will make the cap REVERSIBLE!
For those days when the little ones just need a light covering, a cap made with cotton knit is the perfect thing. Just think of all the combinations of colors and textures you can use to make some fabulous caps. These make really fun baby gifts!
The pattern includes two different styles of caps: A functional pilot cap and a fun whimsy pixie cap.
Five different sizes from Newborn to a Child Size Small.

Creating things that are simple, useful and unique is what I like to do. I love working with fabrics, papers, strings, plants; items that have texture, color and fragrance. What is even more enjoyable to me, is to be able to empower others with the knowledge and skills to create things for themselves.
As a wife, a mother of three wonderful children, and as a yoga instructor, I strive to find balance in life by incorporating the simple things around me. Taking time out from the busy world to create, ponder and share is a big part of that, when done in balance. My hope is to bring to you a variety of items and information that you can use and enjoy.
