Simple stitch patterns rotate through three colorways so that each gets a chance to shine. Large-scale openwork flows into a slipped-stitch window pattern and then smooth stockinette, before sprays of dipped stitches lead back into openwork. The three patterns are worked on the bias in ever-widening bands and finally seamed together. This arrangement provides plenty of visual interest and keeps the knitting fun, while also allowing knitters to keep going until they’ve used up every bit of yarn.
Robynn Weldon
I've been designing my own knitted creations since high school, and more recently put my publishing skills (from a career in newspaper and magazine production) to work in pattern writing. I love to create fresh, beautiful designs with thoughtful details and skill-boosting techniques that help knitters to expand their horizons.
