The idea of crocheting a frame for a sea shell crossed my mind a long ago but it took me some time to find how to realise it and obtain the result I wanted. Now I can finally explain it to you in this pattern and even show how to make a beautiful necklace using this caged shell.

I used Oke! Crochet cotton for the pink shell’s frame and blue turquoise and orange mercerised cotton (100gr/395m) for the necklace.

This creation is unique and is my own invention.
