This patchwork baby blanket is very soft, cosy and warm. Using this patchwork pattern you can also create an any blanket, bed cover (bedspread), sofa, armchair, table cover, scarf, shawl or wrap.
This is a step-by-step tutorial for a patchwork baby blanket which will be hand knitted and crocheted. The pattern includes detailed photos with instructions how to make it -- useful for beginners. This pattern uses only basic stitches, so beginners should have no problem with it. It is written in English using Standard US crochet and knitting terminology (with UK crochet terminology equals if necessary).
The pattern can be made up with any yarn that you have to create your very own blanket with your own colour combination. Variations and experimentations are unlimited!

This pattern is for a patchwork baby blanket measuring approximately 74 cm x 86 cm (about 29.1 x 33.8 inches). 1 knitted and bordered square measuring approximately 14 cm x 14 cm. The size of the patchwork baby blanket will vary depending on the type of yarn, hook and needles size and how tightly you knit and crochet.
