Even though I'm not a big time traveller, I've been in enough airports to know that what every traveller needs is a way to keep paper documents (visas, itineraries, tickets, confirmations, insurance info), a passport, and a boarding pass together in one handy place... separate from the same for any travelling companion(s). Therefore, typical passport "wallets" that simply hold two or more passports in one place are not especially useful.
This passport and travel document keeper is different in that it has a secure full length zippered pocket (please note that you must have previous experience with zippers; I do not provide step by step detailed instructions for this part) to keep valuables enclosed, a full length slip pocket to store folded standard (A4 or letter sized) pages close at hand, a see-through pocket for a boarding pass, and two locations for a passport: an angled storage pocket on the back and a slide-through "harness" to keep it open to a desired page next to the boarding pass.
Make one for each member of your family in their choice of fabric and you'll have no problem keeping everyone organized when you do your next airport dash!

A budding seamstress in my youth, I abandoned the hobby for almost three decades. Then I discovered that people sewed "stuff" besides clothes and quilts. What an eye-opener! The discovery led to a personal sewing journey... one that has seen me progress from student to designer. Check in with me every Saturday morning to see what new discoveries I've made and soak up inspiration from freebies that you won't find here. (P.S. Looking for the best deal? My patterns are ALWAYS sale priced directly from my blog... some are even free!) Check it out at esheepdesigns.blogspot.com
