Janine Hansen
My daughter, Jessica, and I started our newborn photography business Poppies & Posies Photography in 2013 and wanted to make our own upcycled props with thrift store clothing finds to save money as we were just starting out and couldn't afford to buy them already made.
We spent many hours creating and perfecting our patterns. We would create a pattern, use it on one of our newborn clients, see what adjustments needed to be made, make the changes and then try it on our next client and repeat the process until it was perfect! Now that we have perfected them to just the way we like them, we want to share them with other newborn photographers and newborn prop vendors who want to make props like we do. For that reason, Props By Posies was born.
