Details: The loose-fitting Hjertemusling blouse is specially designed for muslin. Muslin is an excellent companion for the warm season due to its light, airy wearing properties. However, the blouse can also be sewn from a thin linen fabric or thin cotton woven fabric. The shoulder section is slightly pulled forward and gathered. You can choose between a straight or a slightly fitted version. The button placket can be sewn as a real button placket with buttons/press studs or as a fake button placket. Long sleeves, 3/4 sleeves or summery cap sleeves – the choice is yours. The back split emphasizes the casual look.
The name “Hjertemusling” comes from Danish and means cockle. My muslin patterns are called “Musling” because the structure of muslin reminds me of shells, the beach and the sea. The cockle shell just goes so well with this feminine yet casual blouse.
Possible fabric types: muslin, linen, thin cotton woven fabric
